The grass like me || Reena Choudhary

In fields of green, where life does sway,
I find myself amidst the play,
The grass beneath my weary feet,
Whispers secrets, gentle and sweet.

Oh, the grass, so much like me,
Bending with the wind, wild and free,
Rooted deep, yet yearning to roam,
Seeking solace, a place to call home.

With blades of green, it tells its tale,
Of resilience through every gale,
Though trampled upon, it still stands strong,
A testament to where it belongs.

Like the grass, I too have known,
Times of struggle, feeling alone,
But in adversity, we both find grace,
Unyielding strength in our chosen space.

The grass, a canvas for nature’s art,
Soft carpet where dreams can start,
Its gentle touch, a balm for my soul,
Healing wounds, making me whole.

So let me dance amidst the green,
Embrace the beauty, serene and serene,
For the grass and I, in harmony,
Find a kinship, forever free.

In nature’s embrace, we both shall be,
Connected by roots, forever free,
The grass, like me, a part of the earth,
A testament to life’s enduring worth.
